So I mentioned earlier in the week I broke down and purchased the Smashbox In Bloom cheek duo. I have been obsessed with the whole collection, but $48 for an eyeshadow palette may not be for everyone. What I did find for half the cost was Jemma Kidd’s Catwalk I-Kit at Target($26). Her kit included 5 mini eyeshadows, 1 dry-wet eyeliner, eye primer, and a duo of natural shades.

My Tools:
- Smashbox cheek duo from the Spring 2011 In Bloom collection
- Jemma Kidd Catwalk I-Kit palette from Target
- Sigma brushes F50, E55, and E25 (you get this sweet one free with purchase haha)
Other (not shown):
- Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow in R.S.V.P.
- Brown eyeliner
- Black mascara
- Nude lip liner
- Clear lip balm
I wanted to re-create the bright but natural feel to the look. Here’s what I did:
1. Eye primer then apply R.S.V.P. from lash to brow.
2. Lined upper and lower lashes in brown eyeliner.
3. Applied 05 Editor (top left) from lashes to right above the crease w/ the E55.
4. Applied just a touch of 03 Vintage (top middle) on the inside of eye, blend a little with finger.
5. Applied 02 Vogue (right side of duo) under the brow to blend all together.
6. Lined upper and lower lashes with Aubergine Shimmer (bottom middle) right on top of the brown liner.

7. Coat lashes a couple times with black mascara. I realize brown mascara would give a more natural look, I don’t own brown though haha. Feel free to experiment with this. Blondes may like the lighter look of brown mascara.
8. Taking the F50 brush dab it a couple times in the Blushing shade (peachy side) of the duo and using a swirl motion lightly apply to cheeks. Don’t worry if you go to dark at first, this blush is super forgiving and you just have to rub it a little with your fingers and it fades nicely.

9. Line lips with your nude liner.
10. Dab your finger into the Peony side of the duo (darker pink) and rub on lips to tint them. Go as dark as you like.
11. I finished off with a clear lip balm to keep my lips from looking dried out. If I wanted to give this an extra kick, I would have used a hot pink gloss like Benefit’s Dancing Queen.
